Now that Vivid is out of the way, I can get on to REAL stuff. Like the month of June. Everything prior to this was from May... yea... backlog sure accumulates when one gets lazy... but never you mind! June was filled with fantastic adventures to Candy Mountain... many... candy mountains..

There shall be another label added to the cloud of current tags called Cafe Series, and it's basically cafes around Sydney... (wait, could we venture beyond Sydney? We could.. hm...!) and the first one visited was Coffee Warehouse: Cafe and Deli.

Located on Parramatta Road, Homebush, this place is amazing. Just look at that latte art!

From this screen, you can watch them making your coffee. The swan was a flatwhite and the hearts are from a cappucino. They use Di Stefano blend of coffee beans... and while I'm not SUCH an avid coffee drinker that I can really tell precisely the differences in blends, I can most definitely tell "crap coffee" from "ok coffee" to "good coffee"... and then to "extremely good coffee".
This one was pretty good coffee.

Everything about this place is Italian, from their massive 5kg nutella jars on the shelves, to their woodfire pizzas, this place isn't just a cafe/restaurant, it sells many authentic Italian ingredients, thus "warehouse".

Sweet chilli chicken pizza~ gotta have something to go with that coffee.

Pizza and coffee seem to be a popular combination. Apparently, cappucino should traditionally be served in the morning only (this I heard from a friend, and she's Italian so she must be right!) and it's kinda weird to order it after a certain time the morning.

Oh hey, notice that pepper grinder? Wait no, that's a salt grinder. Anyway, I asked for pepper on my pizza and the waiter brought over a pepper grinder. He only ground a tiny amount of pepper onto my pizza, and I was about to ask him to keep going, but thought better of it. Thank goodness. That pepper was SUPER spicy, I loved it!

Was pretty full, but just had to try dessert. Hazelnut meringue torte... diabetic-ally sweet, perfect to go with coffee, except I've finished mine by then.

So tea it is! Ordered an earl grey just to finish off the meal...

Yep, it's one of those teapots where you press the bottom against the rim of a glass and it fills up that way. No mess from pouring out of spouts. Plus 1 for using real tea leaves! Lots of cafes resort to teabags these days, it's just not good enough.
Smell of earl grey? Irresistible ~ verdict? Good coffee, good pizza, good service, good atmosphere, what more does one require from a cafe? Want to revisit!
